November favorites!

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Dr Jart Premium BB Cream Rifle Paper Co Bonjour NARS Pro Prime Eyeshadow base

Time goes so fast!!! It’s almost a year since I started blogging and of course, you (my readers) are my inspiration in writing blog posts about beauty and other things! 🙂 And as you know, I love writing my monthly favorites! I love the giddy feeling of writing why I love this and that product, especially when it comes to makeup! Sephora had their VIB sale and Black Friday last November so you’ll see quite a lot of products! So I’ll stop rambling (lol) and here are the items I’ve been loving for the past month:

Beauty Items

Beauty favorites featuring Morphe brushes, Dr Jart BB Cream, Fresh Rose Face Mask, Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip, Kevin Aucoin eyelash curler and Bobbi Brown eyeliner

Morphe E1 Deluxe Powder Brush ($22.99) – I was looking for a powder foundation brush and the MIA at Morphe recommended this brush. It’s super soft and perfect for buffing powder! 🙂

Morphe R45 Angled Liner brush ($3.99) – I want to get a new eyeliner brush and opted for this one. I wasn’t sure if I’m going to love it at first because of the size, but then I fell in love with it after few uses! The bristles are vey fine so I have more control in putting my eyeliner. 🙂

Morphe E3 Precision Pointed Powder ($16.99) – I saw this brush from MannyMUA’s video about his favorite Morphe brushes, so I got one to replace my old Real Techniques blush brush. The bristles are so soft, which is why I love the Elite line of Morphe brushes, and the tapered bristles is perfect for applying blush from the cheeks towards my temples. 🙂

Fresh Rose Face Mask ($62) – My friend Alyssa got me a Fresh face mask set and this one is included. I didn’t like it at first as I don’t see that much of a change, but after a while I notice how hydrating and soft my face is! It’s not a super life changing mask that everyone will buy it but the fact that its safe to use everyday is a huge plus! I love wearing this mask to pamper my face after a long day. But I wish it was cheaper though! 😛

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser ($45) – I know, I know! It’s pretty pricey and I never thought I would buy a cleanser that’s so expensive! I went to a Sephora skincare class and I had a chance to try this. After cleansing, my face looks like I just had a mask! My pores feels tighter and my face feels so smooth. I love it so much that I only use it in the morning so my skin wouldn’t get used to it and I can prolong this product! 😛

Origins GinZing Eye Cream ($30) – This eye cream was recommended in the skin care class and I’m glad I still have a deluxe sample of this. 🙂 The Sephora MIAs told us that this brightens the eyes even under your makeup, and it sure does!

NARS Pro Prime SmudgeProof Eyeshadow Base ($26) – I know a lot of people love this eyeshadow base but I just can’t get myself to buy this because of the price. 🙈 After so long, I finally got into the hype and bought one for myself. My eyeshadow stays way longer, like 12 hours or so, and my eyeshadow still looks vibrant!

Kevin Aucoin Eyelash Curler ($21) – I need a new eyelash curler so I got this when Sephora had their VIB Rouge sale. I used this everyday, even on days where I only put BB Cream in my face, and my lashes are still curled even at the end of day! That’s a great way to test an eyelash curler right? 😀

ColourPop Lippies Stix in Taurus and ColourPop Lippie Pencil in Taurus ($5 each) – I love brown-orange shade lippies and they’re the perfect shade to wear for Fall! I love wearing a subtle eyeshadow and partner it with these lippies! And they are so cheap too! Its matte but not drying on my lips. 🙂

*Check out my Fall makeup routine using these lippies!

Dr Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45 in light to medium ($39) –  I’ve been using a sample of this BB cream and fell in love with it right away! Which is why I got myself a full size from the Snow Time Like the Present set ($39). 🙂 I’ve used BB Cream when I was in college but I stopped using it when I started working. I loved using it because of its skincare benefits! Its long lasting too and its perfect for winter!

Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner in Espresso Ink ($26) – I like using matte brown eyeliner for a more subtle look since it’s not as harsh as a regular black eyeliner. I was using ULTA Automatic Eyeliner in Deep Brown ($8) but it wasn’t super long lasting and I can’t do a precise winged eyeliner. 😛 My Bobbi Brown eyeliner lasted for several hours (even after work its still intact) and I can do winged eyeliner. ❤️

Non-Beauty Items

Rifle Paper Co. Bonjour bag, Urban Outfitters wallet, Sakura Soufflé pen, Madewell Icons Pouch

Sakura Soufflé Gel Pen in Light Orange ($2) – I used this pen when Paper Source had their Bring Your Own Planner event. It is similar to blush color and they tend to embossed when they dried. This is the only color that I like from the set so I’m glad that Jet Pens were selling these individually. 🙂

Urban Outfitters Simple Card Holder ($12) – I love using card holder as my wallet and I got this because my old Urban Outfitters wallet (which is also a card holder) is already breaking on me! haha I love how sleek this is and the cognac color reminds me of Madewell! Perfect for my Madewell bags! 🙂

The pouch clutch: Madewell icons edition ($49.50) – I bought this pouch when Madewell had their Insider event, where you can do your Black Friday shopping one week early. 🙂 I love that it has card slots and a mini compartment inside! I can put tons of stuff and I love using it with my Madewell Transport Crossbody! 🙂

Rifle Paper Co. Bonjour Cosmetic Bag ($24) – I love the collaboration of Rifle Paper Co. and Le SportSac, so I was so happy to see this pouch at Paper Source! It holds a lot of stuff and it looks super pretty!

Madewell Transport Crossbody, Madewell Mini Transport Tote

Madewell Transport Crossbody ($148) – I’ve had this bag for more than two years, way back when they just released it. 🙂 It’s been so long since the last time I’ve used this, but I find myself using this everyday since November and still using it! 🙂 It has zipper closure and holds a lot items. It’s so easy to get my phone and wallet, perfect for everyday use!

Madewell shearling llama bag tag

Madewell Shearling llama bag tag ($15) – I was watching MakeUpTIA’s video when she has this bag tag on her Madewell transport tote. I love using it with my Madewell bags, making them cute!

Whew!! So there goes my November favorites! I know it’s a lot but that’s because we had the Black Friday shopping plus Sephora’s VIB Rouge sale! 😀 I love buying makeup on -ber months since they have more sales! 😀
